Ryanair, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Swords, Dublin, Ireland, is the largest airline in Europe by passenger numbers and the world's largest international carrier. The airline operates as an ultra-low-cost carrier with a point-to-point route model serving over 230 airports across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Ryanair's fleet consists of over 500 Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 aircraft, making it one of Boeing's largest customers. The 737 MAX 8-200 variant is a higher-density configuration unique to Ryanair, seating 197 passengers compared to the standard 189-seat layout. The airline's business model centers on offering the lowest possible base fares while generating revenue through ancillary charges for baggage, seat selection, priority boarding, and other optional services.
