Thomsonfly

Thomsonfly did not belong to any airline alliance. The British charter and leisure airline operated as part of the TUI Group. In 2008, Thomsonfly was merged with First Choice Airways to form Thomson Airways, which later became TUI Airways.

Thomsonfly operated from major UK airports including London Gatwick (LGW), Manchester (MAN), Birmingham (BHX), and Glasgow (GLA). The airline connected UK travelers with holiday destinations across the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, and long-haul resort destinations.

Thomsonfly operated a single Economy class cabin with the option for extra legroom seats. As a charter and leisure carrier, the airline focused on affordable holiday travel rather than premium cabin products.

Thomsonfly included checked baggage as part of Thomson Holidays packages, typically 20-23 kg per person. Flight-only bookings also included checked baggage in the fare, consistent with charter airline practices of the era.

Thomsonfly was merged with First Choice Airways in 2008 to create Thomson Airways under the TUI Travel group. Thomson Airways later rebranded as TUI Airways in 2017 as part of TUI Group's global brand unification. TUI Airways continues to operate as one of the UK's largest leisure airlines.
