Garuda Indonesia

Garuda Indonesia, founded in 1949 and named after the mythical bird of Hindu and Buddhist traditions, is the flag carrier of Indonesia and a member of the SkyTeam alliance. Headquartered in Tangerang near Jakarta, the airline operates its primary hub at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, serving an extensive domestic network across the vast Indonesian archipelago along with international routes to destinations in Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. Indonesia's geography, comprising over 17,000 islands, makes domestic aviation essential for national connectivity. Garuda Indonesia's fleet includes Boeing 777-300ER for long-haul routes and Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, and Airbus A330-900neo for medium-haul services, with Boeing 737-800 aircraft serving the domestic and regional network.
