Air One

Air One did not belong to any airline alliance as an independent carrier. The Italian low-cost airline was acquired by Alitalia in 2009 and eventually integrated into the Alitalia group operations.

Air One operated from multiple Italian airports, with its primary base at Rome Fiumicino (FCO). The airline also had significant operations at Milan Malpensa (MXP), Pisa (PSA), and Venice (VCE), connecting Italian cities with European destinations.

Air One operated a single Economy class cabin as a low-cost carrier. The airline offered competitive fares on domestic Italian routes and European services, competing with Ryanair and easyJet for price-sensitive travelers.

Air One included checked baggage with standard fares, with additional bags available for purchase. The airline's baggage policies aligned with European low-cost carrier norms of the period.

Air One was acquired by Alitalia in 2009 and integrated into Alitalia's domestic and European operations. Some Air One routes were maintained under the Alitalia brand. Alitalia itself later ceased operations in 2021 and was succeeded by ITA Airways, Italy's new national carrier.
