Air Canada

Air Canada, founded in 1937 as Trans-Canada Air Lines and renamed in 1965, is the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada. Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Air Canada is a founding member of the Star Alliance and operates a multi-hub network with primary hubs at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, and Vancouver International Airport. The airline's fleet of over 200 mainline aircraft includes Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner, Boeing 777-300ER and 777-200LR, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A321XLR on order, Boeing 737 MAX 8, and Airbus A220-300. Air Canada's cabin products include Signature Class business with lie-flat suites on long-haul routes, Premium Economy, and Economy. The airline operates Air Canada Signature Suites and Maple Leaf Lounges at its hub airports. Aeroplan is Air Canada's loyalty program, one of the largest in Canada with extensive earning and redemption partnerships. Air Canada serves over 200 destinations worldwide across six continents, with particular strength on transborder routes to the United States, transatlantic services to Europe, and transpacific routes to Asia. The airline also operates Air Canada Rouge, a leisure-oriented subsidiary with a lower cost structure for vacation destinations, and Air Canada Express, a regional brand operated by partner airlines. Air Canada is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The airline has invested heavily in fleet modernization, with the Airbus A220 replacing older Embraer and Airbus narrow-body aircraft on domestic and transborder routes.
