Air Algerie

Air Algerie is not a member of any major airline alliance. The Algerian state-owned flag carrier operates independently, primarily serving routes between Algeria, France, other European countries, and destinations across North and West Africa.

Air Algerie's primary hub is Houari Boumediene Airport (ALG) in Algiers. The airline connects Algeria's largest cities including Oran (ORN), Constantine (CZL), and Annaba (AAE) with domestic services, and operates international flights to France, Spain, Turkey, and several African capitals.

Air Algerie offers Business Class (Classe Affaires) and Economy Class on its fleet of Airbus A330, Boeing 737, and ATR 72 aircraft. Business Class on the A330 provides recliner seats with enhanced meal service and priority boarding.

Economy Class passengers on Air Algerie international flights receive one free checked bag up to 23 kg. Business Class includes two bags at 32 kg each. Domestic flights within Algeria include one checked bag of 25 kg in Economy.

Air Algerie plays a vital role in connecting the large Algerian diaspora in France with their homeland. The Algiers-Paris route is one of the airline's busiest, and the carrier operates extensive service to multiple French cities including Paris, Lyon, Marseille, and Toulouse. During summer and holiday periods, Air Algerie significantly increases frequency to accommodate diaspora travel demand.
