Wizz Air, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, is one of Europe's largest ultra-low-cost carriers, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern European markets. The airline operates from over 50 bases across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, with major bases at Budapest, Vienna, London Luton, Bucharest, Warsaw, Abu Dhabi, and Katowice. Wizz Air's fleet consists exclusively of Airbus A320 and A321neo aircraft, with the A321neo offering a 239-seat high-density configuration that delivers industry-leading unit costs. The airline follows the ultra-low-cost model with low base fares and ancillary revenue from baggage, seat selection, priority boarding, and the WIZZ Discount Club subscription program. Wizz Air operates a single-class cabin throughout its fleet. The airline does not belong to any global airline alliance.
