Pegasus Airlines

Pegasus Airlines, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, is the largest low-cost carrier in Turkey and one of the fastest-growing airlines in Europe. The airline operates its primary hub at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport on the Asian side of Istanbul, differentiating itself from Turkish Airlines, which operates from Istanbul Airport on the European side. Pegasus' fleet consists of Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft, having completed a transition from a mixed Boeing and Airbus fleet to an all-Airbus operation. The airline offers two cabin classes: Essential and Extra Legroom, both in economy configuration, with separate charges for checked bags, meals, and seat selection. Pegasus serves over 130 destinations across Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. The airline's extensive domestic Turkish network connects Istanbul with cities throughout Anatolia, while international routes serve popular leisure and VFR markets. BolBol is the airline's loyalty program. Pegasus does not belong to any global airline alliance. The airline is publicly listed on the Borsa Istanbul stock exchange. Pegasus has benefited from Turkey's large and growing domestic aviation market and the country's geographic position bridging Europe and Asia. The airline's cost structure competes effectively with Turkish Airlines on domestic routes while also attracting international leisure travelers to Turkish resort destinations along the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts.
