Azul

Azul is not a member of any of the three major airline alliances. However, the airline has an extensive codeshare partnership with United Airlines and JetBlue Airways. Azul is a member of the TudoAzul loyalty program, which partners with multiple international airlines.

Azul's primary hub is Viracopos International Airport (VCP) in Campinas, near Sao Paulo. The airline also has a significant presence at Belo Horizonte Confins (CNF) and operates an extensive domestic network connecting over 150 Brazilian destinations, many underserved by competitors.

Azul offers Business Class on its Airbus A330neo long-haul aircraft with lie-flat seats, and Economy on all flights. Domestic services on Embraer E-Jets and ATR turboprops offer a single Economy cabin. The airline is known for its inflight entertainment and complimentary snacks on domestic routes.

Azul's domestic baggage policy varies by fare type. Basic fares include only a personal item, while standard fares include one checked bag of 23 kg. International Economy fares typically include one or two checked bags depending on the route. Business Class includes two bags at 32 kg.

Azul operates the largest domestic route network in Brazil, serving over 150 destinations including many remote communities accessible only by air. Founded in 2008 by JetBlue founder David Neeleman, Azul uses a diverse fleet including ATR 72 turboprops for smaller airports and A330neo aircraft for international routes to the US, Europe, and South America.
