परिचय Indigo
IndiGo, formally InterGlobe Aviation, was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Gurugram, India. IndiGo is the largest airline in India by market share and passengers carried, and one of the fastest-growing airlines globally. The airline operates from multiple bases across India, with primary operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, and Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. IndiGo's fleet of over 350 aircraft consists exclusively of Airbus A320, A320neo, A321neo, and ATR 72-600 types, making it one of the world's largest Airbus A320 family operators. The airline offers a single economy class cabin with optional seat selection and baggage add-ons. IndiGo's 6E Rewards loyalty program provides points-based earning and redemption. The airline operates India's most extensive domestic network, connecting over 80 domestic destinations, alongside a growing international network spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, Turkey, and East Africa. IndiGo does not belong to any global airline alliance but has codeshare agreements with several international carriers including Turkish Airlines and American Airlines. The airline has placed massive orders for Airbus A320neo family aircraft, with outstanding orders exceeding 900 units, positioning it for sustained growth in India's rapidly expanding aviation market. IndiGo is publicly listed on the National Stock Exchange of India and has maintained profitability through disciplined cost management and a focus on on-time performance.
