Sriwijaya Air is not a member of any airline alliance. The Indonesian carrier operates independently as a medium-service domestic airline. Sriwijaya Air has a partnership with Garuda Indonesia through its subsidiary NAM Air.

Sriwijaya Air offers Business Class and Economy Class on its Boeing 737 fleet. The airline positions itself between low-cost and full-service carriers, offering complimentary inflight meals and checked baggage in its Economy fares.

Sriwijaya Air Economy passengers receive one free checked bag of 20 kg on domestic flights. Business Class passengers receive up to 30 kg. The inclusion of free checked baggage and meals differentiates Sriwijaya from Indonesian low-cost competitors.
