KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, founded on October 7, 1919, is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name and the flag carrier of the Netherlands. Headquartered in Amstelveen near Amsterdam, KLM operates its hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe's premier connecting airports known for its single-terminal layout and efficient transfer process. As a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance, KLM operates a fleet of over 160 aircraft, including Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 Dreamliner, Airbus A330, Boeing 737, and Embraer 195-E2 types.
