Austrian Airlines, founded in 1957 and headquartered in Vienna, is the flag carrier of Austria and a member of the Star Alliance through its parent company, the Lufthansa Group. The airline operates its hub at Vienna International Airport, which serves as a geographic bridge between Western and Eastern Europe. Austrian's fleet consists of approximately 60 aircraft, including Boeing 767-300ER and Boeing 777-200ER for long-haul routes, and Airbus A320 family aircraft for short and medium-haul services.
